Dreamy Maple.

Dreamy Maple is the third in my Herb Series of illustrations. In this work, I wanted to explore a new perspective on herbs that my prior two works had not. Specifically, I wanted to capture the particularly immersive moment of relaxation I feel when drinking tea, a feeling I refer to as “tea-tipsy.” When creating this piece, I prioritized my uninhibited imagination rather than the heavy amounts of research which had been the initial driver for my last two works in this series. I went back to my roots and built up my own surreal dreamland inspired by maple tea, Asian gardening and ikebana. Nature, herbs and flowers have always been my passion and is now an inalterable habit to live around them as much as I can. I hope all audiences will find the perfect spot n this work to relax before leaving with a cheerful chirp as they move forward in their lives!!
